Last year we ran the natural lot of this region and it left a big gap in our hearts when we finished our allocated lot… We love Kochere so much we had to get some more! This time around, we brought over the washed lot from the same region. Approximately 800 small farm holders will look after their own crops, harvest and take to the co-operative washing station. The collected cherries will go through a fermentation tank for 48 - 76 hours depending on the weather conditions, after which the cherries are scrubbed and dried on raised African beds for 10 - 12 days until ideal moisture level is reached. 

This coffee has the classic Yirgacheffe fragrance and aroma of white flowers like jasmine and lily, all of which is encased in a juicy citrus party! The spiking acidity will calm down after the initial sip and you should be left with a refreshing sugary linger akin to Nashi pears.
